SP 5730-5844

These units were built in two groups. The first group (SP 5730-5799) were intended strictly as freight units. They had no boilers and a five light cluser at front and rear including a two sealed beam light, a two light gyralight and a single red UDE light which only came on during emergency brake applications. All of these units were delivered in black widow paint. The second group (SP 5800-5844) were also freight units, but were deliverd in grey and red bloody nosed paint.
