SP 5830

This loco was built in 4/1959 with EMD serial number 25130. She was built as a freight engine. She was painted in newly adopted grey and red bloody nose scheme and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on each end.
She was assigned number SP 3693 in the 1965 system renumbering.
She entered the GRIP program and emerged as SP 3855 in 9/1977.
At some point she was sold to Willamette & Pacific (WPRR) and was repainted into SP's black widow paint scheme (though she never wore these colors in service for the SP) as their engine WPRR 1801. It is assumed that she remains in service for that road today.
