SP 5741
This loco was built in 2/1957 with EMD construction number 22923. It was built as a freight engine. It was painted in standard for the time black widow colors and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on each end.
She was assigned number SP 3582 in the 1965 system renumbering.
She entered the GRIP program and emerged as SP 3751 in 6/1973.
She was involved in some sort of accident around 5/1989 possibly in northern California, but was repaired, returned to service and continued to work for the SP until retired on 09/18/1995.
