This loco was built in 4/1957 with EMD construction number 22976. It was built as a freight engine. It was painted in standard for the time black widow colors and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on each end.
She was assigned number SP 3634 in the 1965 system renumbering.
She was not rebuilt as part of the GRIP program. She was involved in a wreck at Warwick, TX in April 1970. She was sold to Precision National and rebuilt for their least fleet.
