SP 5748

This loco was built in 3/1957 with EMD construction number 22930. It was built as a freight engine. It was painted in standard for the time black widow colors and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on each end.

She was assigned number SP 3589 in the 1965 system renumbering.

She was not rebuilt as part of the GRIP program.

She was renumbered into a switcher series as SP 2877 in 1978.
