This loco was built in 3/1959 with EMD construction number 25101. It was built as a freight engine. It was painted in newly adopted grey and red bloody nose scheme and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on each end.

She was assigned number SP 3664 in the 1965 system renumbering.

She was not rebuilt as part of the GRIP program.
