SP 5600-5719
These units were built in several groups. The first four (SP 5600-5603) were equipped as passenger units with boilers and large signal lights at each end. The next group of eighteen units (SP 5604-5621) were intended strictly as freight units. They had no boilers and a five light cluster at front and rear including a two sealed beam light, a two light gyralight and a single red UDE light which only came on during emergency brake applications. The next four units (SP 5622-5625) were again passenger units, but had their air tanks located on the roof for additional fuel/water space between the trucks. The last group (SP 5626-5719) were again freight units. All units were deliverd in black widow paint.
