SP 5624

This loco was built in 4/1955 with EMD builder's number 19979. It was built as a passenger engine with a boiler in the nose. It was painted in standard for the time black widow colors and featured Pyle oscilating dish signal lights on both ends and rooftop air resevoirs for increased fuel and water capacity between the trucks.
She was assigned number SP 3006 in the 1965 system renumbering.
She entered the GRIP program and emerged as SP 3195 in bloody nose paint in 3/1979.
