SP 5618

This loco was built in 2/1955 with EMD construction number 20143. She was built as a freight engine. She was painted in standard for the time black widow colors and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on each end.
She was assigned number SP 3455 in the 1965 system renumbering.
She entered the GRIP program and emerged as SP 3378 in 4/1973.
After leaving the SP, she was sold to Progress Rail; to Foster Farms #3378 (Turlock, CA) then WRIX #3378. Thanks to Tony Johnson for the disposition information.
