SP 5668

This loco was built in 4/1956 with EMD construction number 21361. She was built as a freight engine. She was painted in standard for the time black widow colors and featured a full 5 light headlight arrangement on each end.

She was assigned number SP 3501 in the 1965 system renumbering.

She entered the GRIP program and emerged as SP 3339 in 12/1971.

After leaving the SP, she was sold to Progress Rail, sighted at Illinois Railway Supply, Cordova, IL. Thanks to Tony Johnson for the disposition information.
