B-70-42R Box Cars:
A roster of the B-70-42R class box cars is provided as follows:
SSW 59000-59299 rblt. 1984 Golden West numbers: GVSR 742000=742113 (along with B-70-43R's) GVSR 743000=743135 (along with B-70-43R's)
These 50'-7" box cars were rebuilt by SP as above from B-70-42 class cars. For some reason when these cars went through the Golden West Service program, they were re-numbered along with the B-70-43R (SP) cars.
