SP 6701-6800						(to SPMW xxxx-xxxx)

These baggage cars were built by PC&F 4-7/1962. They featured riveted construction and a more flattened profile to their roofs than the preceding class of cars.

Since these cars were very new at the end of passenger service on the SP, they were repurposed as MofW cars and restenciled with SPMW reporting marks and numbers. Quite a few have ended up with historical organizations and in continued excursion service.
