These 41'-6" tight-bottom, wood sided "War Emergency" gondolas were all built to the same basic design by Ralston in 1946 & 1948 as indicated above and featured 1826 ft3 capacity. See the January 1992 issue of Mainline Modeler for plans and photos. Many of these cars were rebuilt with side extensions as G-50-19A Bagasse Gons.
