F-140-1 Flat Cars
A roster of the F-140-1 class flat cars is provided as follows:
SP 599056-599069 SSW 86200-86211
These cars consisted of pairs of drawbar-connected 70 ton flat cars considered as one car. They were assembled from pairs of existing F-70-7 cars by the SP. The SSW cars were assembled from various 53'-6" flats and therefore some pairs did not match. They were at various times assigned to farm implement, auto frame and International Harvester truck cab rack service.
