F-70-58A Flat Cars:

	SP 517000-517118

These 89'-4" flat cars were built by AC&F in 1970. They were originally equipped with Vert-a-Pac superstructures built by St. Louis Car for transporting Chevy Vegas in a nose-down configuration. By 1980, the superstructures had been removed and enclosed tri-level racks had been installed in their place. Drawings of these cars with the Vert-a-Pac structures can be found in the October 1971 issue of Model Railroader magazine.
