C-40-7 Cabooses:

SP 1750-1799 (to SP 4350-4357, rebuilt)

These bay window cabooses were built by International Car Co. in 1966-67.

Seven of these cars were rebuilt by SP's Sacremento Shops in 1973-75. Tony Thompson notes that not all numbers were used.

Once car, SP 1776, was painted in Bicentenial colors for the 1976 celebration. It often accompanied one of the three similiarly painted diesel locomotives on special appearances.
