B-100-47 Box Cars
A roster of the B-100-47 class box cars is provided as follows:
SSW 62725-62824 Golden West numbers: VCY 147000-147065
These 60'-10" hi-cube, auto parts box cars were built by PC&F in 1979. They featured 7477 ft3 cubic capicity, cushion underframes and 16'-0" door openings. Many of these care were repainted and remarked for VCY as part of the Golden West Service project. After their leases expired, many were restenciled back into their original reporting marks and numbers.
