B-100-2 Box Cars
A roster of the B-100-2 class box cars is provided as follows:
SP 692000-692299 (Lot 11-6098) (to SP 658050-658200 & 690246-690320) SSW 28000-28199 (Lot 11-6100) (to SSW 29100-29216) Golden West numbers: GVSR 102000-102004
These 60'-4" insulated, loader-equipped box cars were built by ACFI in 1963 as above. They featured 5563 ft3 capacity, Hydra Cushion underframes, Damage Free loaders, and a 16"-0" door opening.
These were apparently the very first inside post 60' box cars built by ACFI.
