A roster of the B-70-66 class box cars is provided as follows:

	SSW 23250-23349 	10-72		4805 ft3  	load dividers
	SSW 23350-23449   	10-72		4892 ft3  	DF-B loaders

These 50'-6" insulated box cars were all built to the same basic design by PC&F in 1972-73 and featured 6'+8' Youngstown plug doors and Hydra Cushion underframes. For some reason, the SP singled out this class of box cars to receive the new speed lettering scheme. It was the only class of box cars to be so re-painted. We are lucky to have a beautiful HO scale model of this class of cars from Athearn (thanks Uncle Irv!)
