B-70-47 Box Cars
A roster of the B-70-47 class box cars is provided as follows:
SP 698500-699199 Golden West numbers: GVSR 747000-747043 GVSR 747050-747121 GVSR 747150-747160
These 50'-6" insulated box cars were built by Pacific Car & Foundry in 1969-1970 and featured double 6'+8' doors, Hydra Cushion underframes, DF-B loaders and 4836 ft3 capacity. Some of these cars were eventually repainted as Golden West Service cars.
