These 50'-1", 70-ton insulated box cars were built by PC&F in 1962. They featured Hydra-Cushion underframes, single piece bulkheads and 4644 ft3 capacity.

Some or all of the Cotton Belt cars were later rebuilt into B-70-9R cars.
