These 50'-1" insulated box cars were built by PC&F in 1960-1961. They featured 9'-0" Youngstown plug doors, Hydra-Cushion underframes, and 4574 ft3 capacity.

Some of the Cotton Belt cars were later rebuilt as B-70-5R's. Drawings of these cars can be found in the 1961 Car Builders' Cyclopedia and in the May 1985 issue of Model Railroader (Gordon Odegard.)
