H&S=Houston & Shreveport (part of HE&WT after 1899)

NOTE:  Many UP and subsidiary cars were also built to this design, but are not presented here.


These 40'-0" wood sheathed box cars were all built to the same basic design as above and featured 2730 ft3 capacity. Note that Tony Thompson suggests that the 1908-built cars MAY have been built as B-50-3 cars, however, no conclusive evidence has been turned up to confirm this.
