These 40'-6" all-steel automobile box cars were built by Mount Vernon Car Co. (owned by Pressed Steel Car Co. at the thime) in 11-12/1947. They featured double sliding doors with a 14'-7" opening, Improved Dreadnaughtends, steel grid running boards and 3960 ft3 capacity.
