SP 4800-4801
These units were built in 5/1953 as FM demonstrator units TM-3 & -4. The SP purchased both of them in 11/1953 and ordered 14 more units from the factory. They would end up working the San Francisco-San Jose commute pool into the 1970's before being retired.
