PS 5279 ft3 50' Box Cars
Only two order of this design was purchased, both by SCL in back to back lots. Owing to the closeness of capacity to the PS 5277 ft3 cars, it is likely that these cars hold some sort of relationship to that design. They went on to serve both the SBD and CSXT in their markings and paint.
