These 52'-6", 70-ton gondolas were built by Bethlehem Steel Corp. (Lot DF-237) in 8/1957. They featured fixed ends and 1995 ft3 capacity.

Some cars had covers added in the late 1950's and early 1960's and were re-numbered as SSW 71000-71174 mixed with SSW 75050-75349.

Some cars were re-numbered as SSW 73000-73007 mixed with SSW 75050-75349.
