These 50'-6", 50-ton box cars were built by PS as above as PS-1s. They featured combination 8' sliding and 8' plug doors and 4928 ft3 capacity.

In late 1973-early 1974, Pine Bluff shops re-numbered 300 of these cars as SSW 10000-10299. At least a few had their plug door replaced with a second sliding door.
