These 40' box cars were built by PS (Lot 8327A) in 9-11/1957 as PS-1s. They feautured 8' doors as above and 3882 ft3 capacity.
It seems as though the cars were not equipped with load restraint devices as built, and some were later retrofitted with either 9-belt DF-2 (39 cars,) 19-belt DF-2 (37 cars) and 15-belt SL (5 cars.)
