These 50'-6", 50-ton steel box cars were built by GATC in 8/1951. They featured 8'-0"x 9'-10 3/4" Camel doors, 10'-6" interior height, S.R.E.M. Co. diagonal panel roofs, Morton running boards, S.R.E.M. Co. Dreadnaught ends, ASF A-3 Ride Control trucks, Superior hand brakes and 4810 ft3 capacity. In 9-10/1951, they received Evans 8-belt load protectors.
