This loco was rebuilt in 4/1981 from GP7 SCL 980 (ex SAL 1800) by SCL Uceta shops. After rebuild, she retained her EMD serial number 17372 but became what SCL referred to as a GP16. She was released in Family Lines paint.

She became SBD 4755.

She became CSXT 1801.

She was retired on 05/09/1990.
