This loco was rebuilt in 4/1980 from GP7 SCL 999 (ex SAL 1819) by SCL Uceta shops. After rebuild, she retained her EMD serial number 17391 but became what SCL referred to as a GP16. She was released in Family Lines paint.

She became SBD 4716.

She became CSXT 1762.

She was retired on 01/13/1993.
