This loco was rebuilt in 3/1980 from GP7 SCL 1001 (ex SAL 1821) by SCL Uceta shops. After rebuild, she retained her EMD serial number 17393 but became what SCL referred to as a GP16. She was released in Family Lines paint.

She became SBD 4712.

She became CSXT 1758.

She was retired on 01/13/1993.
