This loco was rebuilt in 11/03/1979 from GP7 SCL 922 (ex SAL 1742) by SCL Uceta shops. After rebuild, she retained her EMD serial number 12100 but became what SCL referred to as a GP16. She was released in Family Lines paint.

She became SBD 4702.

She became CSXT 1748.

She was retired on 04/30/1992.
