This loco was built in 11/1950 with EMD serial number 12100. She was built as a freight engine. She featured a sealed beam headlight in her front and rear ends. As with all SAL GP7's, she did not feature dynamic brakes.
She became SCL 922.
She was rebuilt into a GP16 by SCL Uceta, FL Shops in 11/1979 and became SCL 4702.
She became SBD 4702.
She became CSXT 1748.
She was retired on 04/30/1992.
