This loco was rebuilt in 9/20/1979 from GP9 SCL 1048 (ex SAL 1976) by SCL Uceta shops. After rebuild, she retained her EMD serial number 22647 but became what SCL referred to as a GP16. She was released in Family Lines paint.

She became SBD 4615.

She became CSXT 1715.

She was retired.
