This loco was built in 11/1950 with EMD serial number 12090. She was built as a freight engine. She featured a sealed beam headlight in her front and rear ends. As with all SAL GP7's, she did not feature dynamic brakes.
She became SCL 912.
She became WofA 576.
She was rebuilt into a GP16 by SCL Uceta, FL Shops in 6/1981 and became A&WP 4976.
She became SBD 4976.
She became CSXT 1857.
She was retired on 02/18/1993, sold and became BB 1857.
She became BB 2.
