This loco was rebuilt in 6/1981 from GP7 A&WP 576 (ex SCL 912; nee SAL 1732) by SBD Uceta shops. After rebuild, she retained her EMD serial number 12090 but became what SBD referred to as a GP16. She was released in Seaboard System paint.

She became CSXT 1857.

She was retired from the CSXT roster on 02/18/1993.
