This loco was built in 7/1952 with EMD serial number 16689. She was built as a roadswitcher, model GP7.

She became ICG 2.

She was rebuilt by ICG Paducah Shops as a GP8 and became ICG 7737, in 6/1975.

She was later rebuilt again by Paducah Shops as the very first GP11, ICG 8301.
