C&EI 706300-706499

	C&EI 706300-706499	(to MP 706300=706499 starting around 1976)

These 2-bay, 100-ton, Center Flow covered hopper cars were built by AC&F in 6/1974. They began to be remarked to MP with the same numbers starting after the 1976 merger of the C&EI into the MP. They were AC&F's CF2971 type cars which were lower and longer, but with the same 2970 ft3 capacity as CF2970 and CF2980 type cars built before and after.
