These 3-bay, 100-ton, Center Flow covered hopper cars were built by AC&F in 1964-65 as SHPX cars as above. They came to the C&EI around 1966. They were renumbered into the 714xxx series around 1968. They returned to their original numbers around 1971, but with ACFX reporting marks. They featured 4650 ft capacity.
