These 40'-6", 50-ton box cars were built by GATC (Lot 2712 ?or 2763?) in 1/1937. They featured 6' Youngstown sliding doors with Camel fixtures, dreadnaught ends, Apex Tri-Lok metal running boards and brake steps, Viking corrugated all steel roof, full nailable steel floors and 3712 ft3 capacity.

Several groups of cars appear to have been rebuilt and renumbered as above over time. Some cars received DF loaders as above, possibly others. Some cars had wider doors applied, some had double doors applied.
