	C&EI 42000-42024	

These 53'-6", 70 ton flat cars were built by AC&F (Lot 3292) in 1948.

A group of 22 of these cars were modified with hitches, tie-down equipment and bridge plates to accomodate the loading of TOFC trailers.

Car C&EI 42021 was equipped with roller bearing trucks. It is not known at this time if it was equipped this way from the factory or retrofitted for evaluation.
