Moving west from M.P. 41, Raceland Jct. siding continues to the west past M.P. 42. The entire Raceland Jct. siding is inacessible except for the east siding switch and a portion of the west leg of the wye. The siding is in a large sweeping curve to the right as the main line starts to follow Bayou Lafourche to Lafourche Crossing near M.P. 51.
