Moving west from M.P. 42, we immediately encounter the west siding switch of Raceland Jct. siding. Near here lies a pumping station at the end of a long residential area off of LA Hwy 308. I have been down this road once, and it is not a very safe area. From this point, the main line follows the east bank of Bayou Lafourche to Lafourche Crossing.
