Houma Boy Scout Cabooses:

Some time in the mid 1980s when railroads were divesting themselves of cabooses, one SP and one SSW bay window caboose showed up in Houma behind what at the time was Grace Lutheran Church on Coteau Rd. I was able to inspect them closely once, but did not take photos. The next time I drove by a few years later, they were gone. They were used by a local Boy Scout troup for meetings. Ironically, the facility was later acquired by Cross Church where I currently attend.
I was able to locate some photos taken when the cabooses were delivered to Schriever, loaded onto trucks and installed at the church. See below:
