These 50 ton, 50'-6" steel PS-1 box cars were built by PS (lot 8206) in 10/1954 as PS-1's. All cars were 4839 ft3 capacity. They featured 8'-0"x 9'-10" Superior doors, 10'-5" interior height, PS roofs, U.S. Gypsum running boards, PS ends, ASF A-3 Ride Control trucks, Universal hand brakes, all-welded underframes, lading strap anchors and 4839 ft3 capacity.
