PFE 400001-400025						(to PFE 350001-350025; 1967, load dividers removed)

These 45'-11" mechanical refrigerator cars were built by SP Equipment Company in 1961. They featured 3684 ft3 capacity, load divider bulkheads, cushion underframes and 8'-0" plug doors.

Load dividers were removed and they were renumbered 350001-350025 in 1967.

Modeling Note: This class is similar to Athearn's riveted-side 50ft mech reefer but also featured a diagonal rib to either side of the door.
