These 60'-8" insulated, loader-equipped box cars were built by AC&F in 1963. They featured 6038 ft3 capacity, Hydra Cushion underframes, and a 16"-0" door opening. Many of these cars were used in assigned auto parts service and were therefore renumbered quite often. The original numbers were their general service numbers. As the need for auto parts box cars for various specific service assignments changed, the cars were moved in and out of their assigned service numbers.
