B-70-59 Box Cars:
SSW 49300-49799
These 50'-7", 70-ton box cars were built by FMC-GBEC (Lot 17200) in 11/1970-1/1971. They featured centered 8'+8' Yougstown or Superior sliding doors, 4/4 improved Dreadnaught ends, Z XP roof, double sheathed construction and 5230 ft3 capacity. These cars were NOT equipped with cushion underframes.
